Karachi: (Web Desk) Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman says Jamaat-e-Islami’s current position is that we will make our own mayor, we are ready to serve the city of Karachi.
The Jamaat-e-Islami delegation met Ali Zaidi and other party leaders at the PTI Secretariat to discuss the issue of Mayor Karachi.
After the meeting, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman while talking to the media along with Ali Zaidi said that a large number of people voted for us, we also had reservations about the constituencies, what objections can we have if OPS wins legally.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said we will respect everyone’s mandate but atleast it must be legitimate it is the responsibility of all political parties to protect the mandate of this city it is the duty of citizens to support us and our It is the duty to protect each and every vote submitted by the citizens.
He said I am grateful to Ali Zaidi and his entire team, they spoke good words for us after the election and recognized our mandate.
On this occasion, Ali Zaidi said that it has been agreed to form a 4-member joint committee for the issue of Form 11, the joint committee will look into Form 11 and other issues related to the election.
He said that everyone saw the drama in the name of municipal elections in Karachi, before the elections, during the elections and after the elections we were in touch with each other. Damned.
Ali Zaidi said that there is disagreement in politics, in my view disagreement is a source of blessing. We want to form a federal government, we hope to form a federal and provincial government, we want to give the mayor real powers, we want to tell what the mayor’s powers are.
