(Monitoring Counter) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf refused to accept the results of local elections in Karachi.
The Election Commission has announced the results of local elections in the Karachi division, while the results of the Hyderabad division are still coming. According to the results, PPP is on top after winning 93 USCs, while Jamaat-e-Islami is second after winning 86 USCs.
In Hyderabad municipal elections, PPP won 93 USCs while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is second after winning 38 USCs.
However, after the results so far came, PTI leader Ali Zaidi said that efforts are being made to influence the People’s Party, the Election Commission is directly involved in rigging.
In one of his statements, he said that despite all the rigging, Tehreek-e-Insaf won 70 seats, now political engineering is going on behind closed doors.
Ali Zaidi alleged that the Election Commission is the fourteenth party in the 13-party alliance PDM, in addition to this, PTI leader Firdous Shamim Naqvi said that he will not form an alliance with anyone, if he does not get the leadership, he will give conditional support to Jamaat- e-Islami.
