Special JIT leaves for UAE tomorrow NewsPipa

Islamabad: Special JIT will leave for UAE tomorrow to investigate Arshad Sharif murder case, the team will take the details of Arshad Sharif’s last days of meetings and contacts.

According to the details, the special JIT formed to investigate the Arshad Sharif murder case will leave for the UAE tomorrow.

After a week of investigations in the UAE, the JIT will go to Kenya, where the team will take details of Arshad Sharif’s last days of meetings and contacts.

The JIT in Kenya will also interrogate Waqar and his brother along with the crime scene.

One crore rupees was paid by the Islamabad Police as travel expenses and TAD for the JIT, DIG Headquarters Owais Ahmed heads the five-member special JIT.

The investigating inspector of the case Mohammad Shahbaz will also travel to the UAE with the team.

It should be recalled that the Supreme Court ordered to complete the investigation into the journalist Arshad Sharif murder case within a month and said that it is a test case for the government.
