Punjab Assembly likely to be dissolved tonight – Pakistan NewsPipa

Governor Punjab Balighur Rehman says I have to decide the dissolution of the assembly in two days and also give the election date in 90 days.

Speaking to the media in Lahore, Governor Punjab Balighur Rehman said that I have to decide on the dissolution of the assembly in 2 days, the Punjab assembly will be dissolved as soon as the summary sent by the chief minister is approved.

The Governor of Punjab said that the decision must be taken after seeing everything, the decision to dissolve the assembly is difficult, the date of the election must also be given in 90 days.

On the other hand, the sources say that the summary of the dissolution of the assembly sent by the Chief Minister of Punjab will be approved by the Governor of Punjab by tonight.

Sources have claimed that the Punjab government will be completely dissolved tonight and Interim Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi’s notification will be issued, the Governor of Punjab will issue a gazette notification about the dissolution of the Punjab Assembly.

Sources say Governor Punjab Balighur Rehman has completed consultation with legal experts regarding the summary approval and oversight set-up.

According to the sources, the summary of Chief Minister Punjab has been confirmed by the Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Punjab at the official level.
