Renowned cyclist Sahibzada Sultan won the Thar Flood Jeep Rally 2023 which concluded in Mithi area of ​​Sindh with all its festivities, TV channel 24NewsHD reported on Sunday.

He covered the distance of 108 km in 1 hour 15 minutes 21 seconds to top the table in the A category while Shiraz Qureshi was second with a time of 1 hour 16 minutes 55 seconds. Sheharyar Khan took the third position as he covered the distance in 1 hour 17 minutes 24 seconds.

In the B category, Bilal Chaudhary stood first while Aqeel Ahmed took the second position and Nawaz Dasti took the third position.

In the women’s category, Maham Shiraz secured first place. She completed the prescribed distance in one hour, 24 minutes and 28 seconds.

The Tharparkar jeep rally was organized to support the people affected by the flood in the second half of last year in Sindh and Balochistan. Well-known rally drivers from the country took part in the event.

The camel race, horse race and cultural sports Sindh–Malakhara were also held on the occasion. Lala Rahim Pathan won the first position in Malakhara while Kashif Bajeer was the first in the marathon. On the other hand, Anwar Hajjam won the camel race. The closing ceremony of the fair was held at Benazir Complex Mithi. Sindh Sports Adviser Arbab Lutfullah, Dr. Mahesh Kumar Malani, Mukesh Kamal Chawla and other guests attended the closing ceremony and distributed prizes and trophies among the winners.
