Lahore: An important meeting of party leaders was held in Model Town under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, where the vote of confidence of Chief Minister Punjab was discussed.
Khawaja Salman Rafiq, Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Rana Mashhood, Azam Nazir Tarar, Atta Tarar, Bilal Yasin and other members of the assembly participated in the consultation meeting. In the meeting, various leaders were instructed to keep in constant touch with the alliance and members of the Punjab Assembly of the PML-N.
A consultation was held to form a joint committee of the PML-N and the People’s Party to communicate with the government members in the assembly. A joint committee will also decide who will be the chief ministerial candidate from the PML-N in the event of a possible no-confidence motion.
