The People’s Party’s Central Executive Committee (CEC) says there will be no talks with terrorists, electoral reforms should be completed before the next election.
A hybrid meeting of CEC of People’s Party was held in Karachi chaired by Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
While holding a press conference after the meeting, the leader of the People’s Party Farhatullah Babar said that we want the institutions to be given the opportunity to play their role within the constitution. They will play a constitutional role and will not interfere in politics.
According to Farhatullah Babar, the central executive committee has decided that there should be no talks with terrorists, no one can be talked to without being disarmed.
Farhatullah Babar said that the CEC has demanded that the electoral reforms should be completed before the next election. In the meeting, the propaganda of the former prime minister against the institutions was condemned and concern was also expressed over the issue of missing persons.
