Renowned comedian Ismail Tara died at a private hospital in Karachi.
Ismail Tara, a well-known comedian who excelled in theatre, television and film, has passed away.
He suffered from kidney disease for some time. He was transferred to a private hospital in Karachi on Thursday, where he fell in love with Allah during treatment.
Ismail Tara started his artistic journey in theater but rose to fame in the 1980s with PTV’s comedy sketch show Fifty Fifty.
His pairing with Majid Jehangir and Zeba Shahnaz in Fifty Fifty was very successful.
After proving his skills in television, Ismail Tara turned to films, but after the launch of a private television channel, Ismail Tara turned to television again.
Ismail Tara’s successful TV shows and dramas include Fifty Fifty, Lyari King Live, Ismail Time, Yeh Zindagi Hai, One Way Wicket and Orange Town Ki Anwari.
