Nankana Sahib: A three-day celebration of the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism, is underway.
According to details, thousands of Sikh pilgrims performed their religious rites today at Gurudwara Sachcha Sauda in Sheikhupura, strict security arrangements have been made by the police.
Today is the second day of the birth anniversary of Sikh spiritual leader Baba Guru Nanak. Sikh pilgrims reached Gurudwara Sacha Sauda Farooqabad from Nankana Sahib, birthplace of Gurudwara, today by special bus to perform religious rituals. Father’s birthplace Guru Nanak Sikh pilgrims rejoice at the sight.
Government of Pakistan has made best arrangements for Sikh pilgrims, medical and rescue 1122 camps have also been set up by the district administration at Gurdwara Sacha Sauda, the three-day celebration of Baba Guru Nanak’s birthday will continue till November 8. And tight security arrangements are in place for Sikh pilgrims.
