Concerns are growing for a man who has gone missing from Glasgow’s West End.

Police today launched a request to trace Jake Burns, who was last seen around 10:30 pm on Blantyre Road, York Hill, Wednesday November.

It is understood that you have seen or heard of him since.

The 28-year-old is 5 feet 6 inches tall, has a slim build, short black hair, and wears glasses.

We have no information about what Jake is wearing.

Police have checked all relevant CCTV footage and said a large-scale investigation is currently underway to find Jake.

“Jake’s family is understandably concerned about Jake and just want to know he’s safe and healthy,” Sergeant Dean Shankey said.

“His lack of contact is completely out of character and increases our concern.

“If anyone has seen Jake or has any information or knowledge of his whereabouts, please contact me.

Anyone with information is urged to call Scottish Police via 101, citing case number 1433 of 5 November 2022.
