Roads in Brightmet will be closed at the end of this month while construction takes place.

Due to gas works, Falkland Road will be closed for approximately two weeks starting November 21st.

The road closure will prohibit all traffic on Falkland Road from Berry Road to Rannoch Road, allowing gas works to take place.

Another travel route is via Vernon Street.

To ensure that trash cans are emptied during operations, City Hall officials are asking residents to present them at the nearest accessible location to ensure they can be emptied on regular collection days.

Council officials say they want to apologize for any inconvenience the closure may cause.
