Coldplay have announced that they are postponing several shows on their latest world tour, citing the health of lead singer Chris Martin.

After Martin’s diagnosis, the band wrote that he was “under strict medical orders to rest for the next three weeks.”
“We are working as quickly as possible to confirm a new date and will follow up with more information in the coming days… Your understanding during this difficult time when Chris’ health must be prioritized. We are very grateful to you,” the statement said.
“We are optimistic that Chris will be back to good health following his mandatory medical leave and look forward to resuming touring soon,” they added, thanking fans for their understanding.
