Thane: Healthy mother to healthy home campaign is about to start in the district. Giving the above information, Thane District Officer Rajesh Narvekar said that it is being launched from September 26 to October 5. Under which women above 18 years of age will be health checked. It will strengthen the country at national level through Swasth Mata Toh Swasth Ghar Abhiyan. If women’s power is kept healthy, my country will also be healthy. This thing should be taken care of. Besides this, Narvekar directed the district administrative machinery to contribute 100% to make the campaign a success.
A meeting of District Coordination Committee regarding pre-preparation and planning of Swasthya Mata to Swastha Ghar Abhiyan was held under the chairmanship of Thane District Officer Rajesh Narvekar. He addressed the meeting and also gave instructions for the implementation of the campaign. Under this campaign, all rural and civil hospitals, primary health centers and where health officers are serving, will be active in rural parts of Thane district such as Ambernath, Kalyan, Bhiwandi, Shahpur, Moorbad, Badlapur and Ambernath. Women’s health will be checked under this campaign. They will also be given commission. Pregnant women will also be examined and informed about their health.
No fee will be charged
At the same time, District Health Officer Dr. Gangadhar Parge said that health examination of all women in the district will be done. Not only this, special priority will also be given in recruitment. Pregnant women will also be contacted and given medical guidance. So that the child born in the womb does not suffer from any kind of disease. Dr. Parge said, maternal health is the most important issue. If mothers are healthy, children will be born healthy. This effort will yield better results for the future. Keeping this in mind Mother Safe to Ghar Safe campaign is being run in Thane district. From 10 am to 2 pm medical officer will conduct daily health check up of pregnant women. No fee will be charged for this.
Women’s health will be checked
In this campaign, public awareness campaign will be conducted by ANM, ASHA workers, Anganwadi nurses, NSS, Rotary Club, NCC, Nursing College, MSW College, Nehru Yuva Kendra as well as local voluntary organizations. Women’s health will be checked in the medical camp. Under the guidance of District Officer Rajesh Narvekar and GIP Chief Executive Officer Dr. Rupali Satput, “Mata Safe to Ghar Safe” campaign is about to start in Thane district. Thane Zilla Parishad Chairperson Pushpa Ganesh Patil, Zilla Parishad Vice-President Subhash Gotiram Pawar and Chairman Arogya and Bandhana Bandana Kisan Bhande urged all the women of the district to take advantage of the medical camp organized under this campaign.
