Sehore (Madhya Pradesh): Later, the demand of the residents of Magarkheda village in Sehore district for construction of bridge and road fell on deaf ears, said the locals.

Expressing anger at the laxity of the district administration, the locals have warned of agitation until their demands for the construction of bridges and roads are met.

Locals have described the sad condition of the village, which worsens during the monsoons and school children are forced to cross swollen rivers to get to school.

Apart from this, the villagers also complained that Magarkheda village has lost communication with other villages due to heavy rains. Talking to the media, locals said that Chandbad, Karanjkheda, Naunikhedi, Nipaniya and Mohali villages are connected to Magarkheda village, through which traffic is often disrupted during monsoons.

Also, a local named Janmaprasad Mewada complained that he had been appealing to the district administration for this for a long time, but to no avail.

When contacted, Aman Mishra, SDM, Sehore, said that no such complaint had come to him. Further, Mishra assured to take relevant action if any complaint is filed.
