Rain has affected various parts of Delhi
Delhi Municipal Corporation has received pictures of waterlogging in Fatehpur Beri, Sangam Vihar and Tikri villages due to heavy rains on Thursday. There were reports of uprooting of trees in many places. The Delhi Traffic Police helpline received 23 calls related to traffic jams, seven related to waterlogging and two related to uprooted trees.
Traffic jams were reported from Khajuri Chowk, Goyla Dairy, Yamuna Bridge, Outer Ring Road, Paschim Bihar, Rohini Sector-8, Hanuman Mandir Pusa Road, Azad Market, Dwarka Flyover, Dhaula Kuan to Gurugram, officials said. He said there is waterlogging in AIIMS flyover, Rajdhani Park to Mundka, Nigambodh Ghat, Mayapuri flyover and other places.
Meteorological department warning
India Meteorological Department has issued yellow alert for Friday in view of rain in Delhi-NCR. According to the Meteorological Department, this process of rain will continue on Friday. This episode will continue till Friday morning, with the process starting from Thursday night.
