The operator of Mumbai International Airport said in a statement that it has been decided to close the runway on October 18 from 11 am to 5 pm. On October 18, both runways will remain closed for runway repair and maintenance work.
According to airport authorities, passengers have been told that if they are traveling or planning to travel by air during this period, they can cancel their travel plans during this period. Airport authorities said that no flights will be operated from Mumbai airport during this period. It is clear that passengers may face many problems at this time.

Mumbai Airport has two very busy runways, the main runway being 9/27 and the other being the operating runway 14/32. 800 flights operate daily from these two runways. Mumbai Airport is the second largest aerodrome after Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport.
