KARACHI: Even if you don’t have money, you can do good for the community even if you have the right intentions. According to a press release, Hasin Sarwar proved it right.
We met him and here is his story he got some pictures of the flood devastation in Goth Jamali district Jaffrabad Balochistan.
He circulated those pictures among his group and one of his Canadian Pakistani friends Fermuz responded that he arranged money from his other Canadian friends and within 3 days a truck with 100 tents and rations for 100 families was moved from Karachi.
The conditions were so bad that the entire mission would not have been possible without Nabeel and his young group of friends as they voluntarily traveled by truck.
As the last 2 km of the village road is under water, the goods are sent by tractor trolley.
More money was then donated by friends and family of Hasin Sarwar and Farmuz so 7 days later two more trucks were sent to the villages of Sindh Qazi Ahmed and Saidabad with 200 tents and rations for 200 families and 1000 bottles of drinking water.
May Allah bless Hasin Sarwar and people like him who managed to help the flood victims without any organization.
