Anticipatory bail no longer available for crimes against women and children in Uttar Pradesh, Assembly passes CrPC Amendment Bill NewsPipa

To control persistent crimes against women and children in Uttar Pradesh, the Code of Criminal Procedure (Amendment) Bill 2022 was passed by voice vote on the last day of the monsoon session of the legislature, which allows those who commit crimes against women and children. No advance bail will be given.
